How to use our site?

Simply setup a new account and fill in your profile. Once you have done so, just login to your account and proceed to view various events or hotspots. If you see one you like, create a "Go-List" and tag it under that specific Go-List. This list you have created will be saved in your account for future viewing or for sharing with others in your network. Add or modify as you please. You can event setup your account to book your travel reservations within this site (click here to find out).

What is a Go-List?

A Go-List is list that you created with all the HOTSPOT's that you have tagged that appears from your search. If that HOPTSPOT interests you, then add it to your Go-List that you have created. You can name it anything you want so that you know that everything you have tagged relates to that particular list.

What is a HOTSPOT?

A HOTSPOT is simply an advertisement that markets your event or property for online users to view. They can view your HOTSPOT and decide whether they will proceed to contact you to either commit to the event or make a reservation to your property.

Creating a HOTSPOT

If you want to create your own Hotspot for everyone to view, just login to your account and create an event of an advertisement with the specific details. You can add up to 10 photos and place a link from your website. There is also the ability to map your event or advertisement with Google Maps. Once it is created, others can view it and even post comments on their experience. The best part of it all is that this service is FREE. No costs are associated to this service. All we ask is to please make sure your HOTSPOT is updated so that you don't receive RSVP or bookings that are out-of-date.

What does this cost?

Simply NOTHING! Again, we have created this site for the purpose of community's sharing events and points of interests that others can enjoy.

Can I book my travel reservations on Albertatourism.com?

You definitely can! There are several ways you can do this. Our Travel Hot Sheet contains specials and deals on certain travel packages that are available throughout the year. Theses specials will sometimes appear in the HOTSPOT search results. You can even setup a notification for certain travel destinations when they become available as a special. If you see it as a HOTSPOT, then simply click onto the posting and following the instructions on how to book it. You can also book through our online reservation booking system. Once you have booked your reservation, a live agent will be in touch to confirm all your details to make sure that everything went as planned.

Are the reservations competitive to other travel sites?

Yes, the prices you see on our site are the same prices you will find in other major reservation websites. The advantage we have is that if you sign up for our Travel Club Membership, you will receive even more of a discount. Click here to find out how.

What are the benefits to being an ATCM (Albertatourism.com Travel Club Membership) member?

As an ATCM member, you receive a discount ranging from 5%-50% for the reservations posted. The discount will be tracked based on your membership number and will appear in your account profile. The discount is in the form of travel dollars. The travel dollars can be applied to your next travel reservation. Another benefit of being an ATCM member is that you will receive travel incentives as well as promotional offers that are only available to ATCM members.
